Real Madrid are attempting to crank up the pressure ahead of tonight’s Champions League quarter-final second leg against Arsenal.

The holders, and 15-time winners of the competition, have a huge mountain to climb to reach yet another semi-final.

Trailing 3-0 ahead of the return meeting at the Santiago Bernabeu, Los Blancos must do something they’ve never managed to in the Champions League previously - overturn a three-goal deficit from the first leg.

Though, Real Madrid are on a mission to make history and have sent the Gunners an ominous message in the process.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, on Wednesday morning, the club posted a video where they asked ChatGPT to translate the eight-word message “Ninety minutes at the Bernabeu are very long” into as many languages as possible.

It’s clear that Arsenal are in for a long night in Spain and the stakes have been raised with UEFA granting Real Madrid permission to close the Santiago Bernabeu roof.

Real Madrid are regarded as the comeback kings in the Champions League. On three of the past four occasions in which they have trailed after the first leg they have fought back to reach the next round - against Wolfsburg in 2015/16 and against both Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City in in 2021/22.

Jude Bellingham revealed on Tuesday that the word 'Remontada' - which translates to 'comeback' - has been seen around the Real dressing room

“The fans are fundamental. They create an incredible atmosphere. The energy inside the stadium is contagious, and the players give their all,” Bellingham told reporters on Tuesday. “We can feel when the fans are there, and it makes the game even bigger. It means a lot to us.

“We can't ask the Real Madrid players to do anything more than they've already done. They're the 12th man and they always give their all. Now it's up to us to make them proud.

“The word I've heard most often in recent days is "comeback." I've probably heard it a million times this week. I've seen a lot of videos from fans, from the press... it motivates us a lot.

“It's a night tailor-made for Real Madrid. It might be something that people remember. We can't add anything more special to this.”

The winners of the tie will face Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-final after the Ligue 1 champions overcame Aston Villa 5-4 on aggregate following a dramatic second leg at Villa Park.
