Real Madrid and France star Kylian Mbappé has this weekend provided an insight into just how badly he is suffering, whilst taking to the pitch in a facial mask.

Frontman Mbappé, of course, has spent the last couple of weeks lining out on the international stage, donning a custom-fitted face mask.

As much comes after the 25-year-old suffered a broken nose in France’s Euro 2024 opener against Austria.

Mbappé has looked some way short of his brilliant best ever since, with many having called into question whether such struggles could be down to ongoing discomfort.

And, if the latest comments on the part of the attacker himself are anything to go by, this would certainly appear to be the case.

Speaking to the media in the aftermath of France booking their place in the semi-finals of the Euros, Mbappé was asked for the latest on his comfort levels, whilst wearing his new-look mask.

And the departing Paris Saint-Germain star went on to explain:

“As soon as I can get rid of this mask, I will. It’s horrible.”
