Real Madrid star Rodrygo has sent a message the way of his Blancos teammates, regarding their recent performance in the Madrid Derby.

This of course comes fresh off an outing to forget for Xabi Alonso’s troops against Atlético.

Real made the short trip across Spain’s capital late last month, to face off with Diego Simeone’s Atléti for the first time this season.

The visitors headed into the fixture boasting a flawless record to open the term, brimming with confidence as a result.

In turn, it came as a major surprise when Real Madrid found themselves condemned to the wrong side of a 5-2 result.

After taking a 2-1 lead during the first-half at the Metropolitano, Los Merengues conceded four goals without reply, leaving all associated with the club nothing short of humiliated.

One individual adamant that no similar result will be forthcoming on the part of Alonso’s side any time soon, though, is the aforementioned Rodrygo.

Speaking during an interview with Diario AS this week, frontman Rodrygo was drawn on the derby debacle.

And the Brazilian went on to assure:

”We’re all in agreement. It can’t happen again, and it certainly won’t. It was a terrible day for us, but it won’t happen again. We lost 5-2, I’m no fool, we can’t say anything.”
