Endrick left Real Madrid hoping to garner regular minutes under his belt, and in the process, prove his value once again as a prolific goalscorer.

After all, he was not seeing regular minutes at Real Madrid, and in the process, was even losing prominence on the international stage.

With the FIFA World Cup coming up, Endrick’s new lease on life in France earned him a second shot at impressing Carlo Ancelotti and earning a ticket to the World Cup, and the player made the most of his chance during the recent break.

Out of fear

As relayed by MARCA in a recent update, Endrick’s performance for Brazil in the recent international break leaves the player without any fear of the World Cup selection.

It is not assured that he will make it, but he has given his best shot in what was his last chance to make a case.

The Real Madrid phenomenon did not play in Brazil’s defeat to France but did come off the bench for the team’s win over Croatia.

In the 14 minutes that he was on the field, he was unplayable with many outlets comparing his performance to that of how Neymar Jr. would take responsibility in his prime.

Endrick won the penalty that put the team 2-1 up on the night and then went on to assist the third goal in the 93rd minute, thereby making a massive statement about his quality.

Ancelotti does indeed have a plethora of options to choose from, but Endrick provides a profile that can make a difference even in a short span, making him an ideal bench option for a tournament like the World Cup.

His chances of making the elite competition as a teenager are real.
