Kylian Mbappe recently spoke to La Sexta during an interview where he was seen walking through a section of Santiago Bernabeu stadium before reaching one of the stands where the journalist was waiting for him.

The Real Madrid star opened up about various topics, once again expressing his deep admiration and affection for the club.

He made it clear that playing for Real Madrid has always been his ultimate dream and that he is now living that dream to the fullest.

“All I wanted was to play here at the Bernabeu, in this shirt. With all the fans chanting my name. To score goals. To be happy,” he said.

Following Zinedine Zidane

From his early years, Mbappe had been captivated by Real Madrid’s legendary aura. Growing up as a fan of Zinedine Zidane and the Galacticos, he always aspired to wear the famous white shirt and play at the iconic Bernabeu.

He emphasised that Real Madrid are the best club in the world, possessing a special charm that sets it apart from all others.

“I started out as a fan of Zizou and the Galacticos. It’s the best club in the world and has an aura that the others don’t have,” he noted.

“My parents have done so many things for me over the years and have been very important in my journey to where I am.”

From being just a passionate young fan to becoming one of the most celebrated players in the world, he credits his parents for their unwavering encouragement throughout his career.

“I had this dream that later became a goal, and now it’s a reality. I want to win La Liga, the Champions League, and everything possible with Real Madrid,” he said.
