Nico Paz is undoubtedly one of the hottest prospects in the transfer market right now, following his exceptional performances at Como.
The product of the Real Madrid youth academy has been involved in 13 goals since joining Como last summer, emerging as one of the rising stars in Serie A this season.
But even though Como had signed Paz on a permanent deal, his future appears to be in Real Madrid, more than anywhere else.
That is because the reigning Spanish champions have a buyback clause, worth only €8 million that can be activated in the summer.
Como are aware of the fact that Real Madrid can opt to bring back Paz whenever they want.
However, according to Fabrizio Romano, the Italian outfit are keen on keeping hold of the young playmaker for one more season.

The club are making efforts to convince Real Madrid to let him play in Italy for at least one more campaign, so that the playmaker can further improve his qualities.
It must be noted that Real Madrid have multiple buyback clauses. If they don’t activate the option this summer, there is another clause which can be activated in 2026, worth around €9 million.
The final decision regarding Paz’s future will be taken by Real Madrid. However, the club are currently going through a tough period, with Carlo Ancelotti potentially gearing up for his last few matches as the Real Madrid coach.
Keeping that in mind, Romano adds that Los Blancos will only take a call on Paz’s future when the coaching issues are resolved.
