Three members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid have this week seen their endeavours over the early weeks of the new season recognised.

As much comes by way of nominations for a string of awards.

Real Madrid, as a collective, are of course fresh off what has been an altogether prouctive opening to the new campaign.

To date, Los Blancos have rattled off three wins from three in La Liga, notching six goals whilst conceding just once along the way.

This leaves Xabi Alonso’s troops sitting pretty atop the Spanish top-flight table, as one of just two teams with a perfect record.

And as alluded to above, this week, the efforts of three individuals en route to as much have been recognised.

First up comes manager Alonso, who has been nominated for La Liga Coach of the Month for August:

Next is midfield starlet Arda Güler, put forward for the division’s U23 Player of the Month:

And rounding out the nominees at the Santiago Bernabéu is Kylian Mbappé, up for La Liga Player of the Month following his haul of three goals in three games:
