Real Madrid picked their first win of the Xabi Alonso era on Sunday, beating Pachuca 3-1 in their second Group H game of the FIFA Club World Cup.
Up next for Los Blancos is a game against RB Salzburg on Thursday night (US local time) as they aim to secure a spot in the Round of 16 of the competition.
According to AS, Real Madrid youngster Gonzalo Garcia seems set to start his third game in a row when they take on RB Salzburg.
The La Fabrica striker got the nod as the centre-forward against Al-Hilal last week after Kylian Mbappe was ruled out due to gastroenteritis.
Gonzalo made the most of his chance, scoring Real Madrid’s only goal of the game. As a result, he started again on Sunday vs Pachuca, with Alonso picking him ahead of Rodrygo Goes in attack.

The 21-year-old did not let his manager down again as he contributed with one assist – setting Arda Guler up for the second goal.
Mbappe has resumed training in the gym and is progressing in his recovery but at the moment it is still not certain that he will be available. Even if he is ready, the Frenchman might only be used as a substitute.
As such, everything indicates that Gonzalo will be making his third consecutive start under Alonso, hoping to make an impression once again.
The Spanish ace has been attracting interest from clubs in La Liga and abroad this summer.
But should he make the most of his chances at the Club World Cup, it is entirely possible that Alonso decides to keep him at the club, especially with Endrick still sidelined with injury.
