The former Ajax manager is under pressure after speculation is mounting over his future in the Old Trafford dugout.

It has been a poor start to the season with a lack of goals being costly in getting results with the Red Devils drawing their last two games.

The Dutch coach’s side is level on points with the visitors on seven points out of an available 15.

Ten Hag will be hoping his side can produce a strong performance as they enter a tough period of fixtures with trips to face FC Porto and Aston Villa next week.

Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou will be hoping his side can take advantage of pressure on Manchester United and pick up their first away win of the season.

Harry Redknapp backs Dominic Solanke to be key in Old Trafford clash

Former Premier League boss Harry Redknapp believes Dominic Solanke will be Manchester United’s biggest danger with the striker starting to pick up form in a Tottenham shirt.

Speaking to Bet Victor as per the Manchester Evening News, Redknapp said: “Just as soon as Manchester United start to settle down and play, they have a couple of lacklustre performances and everybody’s back to square one.

“You never know which United are going to turn up. I think they’ll surprise everyone this weekend with a decent performance, but it’ll be frustration time at Old Trafford yet again.

“All credit to Ange Postecoglou in Europe, they went down to 10 men early in the game, but his team produced a professional performance to win the game 3-0.

“Spurs were sensational against Brentford and it’s encouraging to see Dominic Solanke banging them in. That’s just what any new player needs.

I’m looking forward to this match, but I bet the Man United fans will be watching it from behind the sofa!”
