Milan star Tijjani Reijnders confirms he’s in talks to extend his contract with the Rossoneri and is ‘confident’ about the upcoming Serie A fixture against Juventus.
Reijnders spoke to Gianlucadimarzio.com after the Netherlands’ 4-0 win against Hungary over the weekend.
The Dutch side have finished second in their Nations League group, so they won’t be among Italy’s possible opponents in the quarter-finals.
“I am happy the Netherlands qualified for the Nations League,” said the Dutch midfielder.

“Now, I focus on Bosnia before returning to Milan. We must improve in Serie A, but I am confident about the Juventus game.”
The Rossoneri have 18 points in Serie A, eight below table leaders Napoli, but with a game in hand.
This coming Saturday, they’ll host Juventus at San Siro.
“It’s not too late for the Scudetto,” insisted Reijnders.
“There are many teams within a few points. Milan are evolving as a team, and things will improve.”
Even if Reijnders’ Milan deal expires in 2028, impressive performances this season have convinced the Rossoneri to open talks to extend the midfielder’s stay at San Siro.
“We are in talks right now, but I can’t say more,” Reijnders confirmed.
“I see myself in Milan until I’m in my 30s. It’s one of the most beautiful clubs in the world, and it’s an honour to play there. Wearing Cruyff’s No. 14 shirt is special, and I am happy to be in Milan.”
Reijnders joined Milan on a €20.5m deal from AZ Alkmaar in the summer of 2023.
He has scored four goals and provided three assists in 14 appearances across all competitions with the Rossoneri this season.
