PSG trained with a light touch in Budapest on Friday, the eve of their Champions League final with Arsenal, as a carefree mood framed their final preparations.
According to L'Équipe, they emerged at 16:47 at the Puskas Arena to applause from a few supporters and family, with Nasser al-Khelaïfi and Luis Campos watching on.
Quentin Ndjantou received a jovial guard of honour on his return, then the rondo brought nutmegs and teasing. Ndjantou slipped one through Dro Fernandez’s legs, and Fabian Ruiz did likewise, while Achraf Hakimi and Ruiz tugged Lucas Hernandez’s shorts.
A mixed-team possession drill over about 40 metres lifted the tempo. Hakimi, back from injury, showed no clear discomfort yet avoided flat-out sprints. Vitinha shone as joker, while Ousmane Dembélé, in his fourth collective session after a calf issue, looked at ease.
Crosses into volleys and shots initially brought surprising miscues as Luis Enrique looked relaxed and goalkeepers Lucas Chevalier and Matvei Safonov dealt with tame efforts. In the next block the finishing improved, and Dembélé ran two 40-metre bursts, ending with a smile that might have reassured him.
By 17:39 Enrique and Rafel Pol were chatting in the centre circle as training wound down. The players left to applause, then at 18:12 Vitinha, Renato Marin and Nuno Mendes played foot-tennis. At the same hour on Saturday comes one of their biggest matches.
