Rennes appreciate Philippe Clément as a potential managerial option | OneFootball

According to a report from Foot Mercato, Rennes highly appreciate Philippe Clément as a potential managerial option to replace current manager Habib Beye. Les Rouges et Noirs have not yet sacked their boss, but have identified the former Monaco manager as an option should they decide that a change is needed in the dugout at Roahzon Park.

Clément has been unemployed since February after he left Ibrox following a spell in charge of Rangers. The Belgian head coach has not since found an attractive enough proposition to jump back into management. However, that could change if Rennes were to offer him an opportunity to take charge.

Beye in danger at Rennes?

The higher-ups at Rennes believe that they have a competitive squad to compete at the top end of Ligue 1 and are disappointed with recent results under the management of the former Red Star head coach. The Ligue 1 club have drawn their last four games.
