Rennes predicted XI v Lorient: Jérémy Jacquet starts in Derby Breton amid Chelsea interest | OneFootball

Stade Rennais host local rivals FC Lorient in the Derby Breton this afternoon. The last time these two met, Rennes fell to nine men within ten minutes in a bruising 4-0 defeat in late August. Rennes will be expecting a far better performance as they hope to maintain their pursuit of a return to Europe. 

Habib Beye could be without Séko Fofana, who has been linked with a move to Portugal. L’Équipe earlier predicted he would be on the bench, while Ouest-France believes that he has been dropped from the squad. Jérémy Jacquet has been linked with a big-money move to Chelsea FC this winter, but he will likely be starting in the centre of the back five. 

New signing Sebastian Szymański could make his debut for Rennes today, but if he does, it will likely be from the bench.
