Rennes host Toulouse on Saturday at 17:00 in Ligue 1, the first Roazhon Park outing for Franck Haise as head coach.
According to L'Équipe, the former Nice coach remains without defenders Jérémy Jacquet and Przemyslaw Frankowski, and midfielder Glen Kamara. Jacquet has a shoulder problem, Frankowski a calf issue, and Kamara an ankle injury.
Frankowski and Kamara are close to resuming next week, while the situation of Jacquet, described as the future Liverpool defender, is uncertain.
The Under-21 international injured his left shoulder in the 1-3 defeat at Lens on 7 February, and surgery has been discussed since.
No decision has been taken yet, with the 20-year-old due to undergo further tests early this week.
Haise said on Thursday he does not yet know precisely, adding that Jacquet is receiving treatment and rehabilitation and is working in the gym.
