FC Barcelona have been heavily impressed by the contributions of on-loan Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.
The 28-year-old Englishman, despite going through spells of inconsistency, has made vital contributions, particularly in the UEFA Champions League, where he has been directly involved in nine goals.
The loan agreement with Manchester United consists of a €30 million purchase option – a figure that the Catalans do not wish to meet.
As such, an exclusive report from The Touchline claims that Barcelona have offered Marc Casado to Manchester United as part of a potential deal to sign Marcus Rashford on a permanent transfer.

As such, they are exploring alternatives – either negotiating a lower price or including a player such as Casado in the deal.
The 22-year-old La Masia midfielder has fallen down the pecking order under Hansi Flick this season and has barely featured regularly. His minutes will take a further hit once Gavi is back to full fitness.
As such, Barcelona seemingly see the Spaniard as an expendable member of the squad and have offered Manchester United a chance to sign him as part of the deal for Rashford.
It must be noted that the Red Devils have held an interest in Casado and even made an enquiry for him this month.
With Barcelona willing to offer him to United as part of a swap deal involving Rashford, it will be interesting to see if the Premier League club accept the proposal or not.
