Report: Chelsea one of three Premier League clubs interested in talent valued at €80m | OneFootball

Chelsea are one of the clubs interested in talented Juventus teenager Kenan Yildiz according to reports in Italy.

The Blues are set for a busy summer and it’s said they could look to sell seven or eight players in order to fund moves in the market.

Chelsea face a critical summer with a number of key positions needing to be addressed, with the club said to want a striker, centre back and right footed attacker.

Chelsea interested in Yildiz

The Blues have been linked with a number of wingers, most recently Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams, and they are said to want five wingers in their squad next season.

There’s expected to be plenty of movement in the wides areas this summer as Chelsea look for a new winger ,as well as deciding what to do with Jadon Sancho.

Italian outlet Gazetta dello Sport have reported the Blues are one of the clubs interested in Juventus star Yildiz, who’s represented by Jorge Mendes.

The report adds Mendes has already informed Juventus of interest in the 19-year-old from Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool.

Gazetta state Juventus wouldn’t want to accept a fee below €80m to avoid a Dean Hujisen type situation as they lost the Spain international on the cheap.

The Turkey international arrived at Juventus on a free transfer in 2022 and is a really exciting talent, and you can see why some of Europe’s top clubs are interested.

The 19-year-old is a left winger who can also play on the right and he’s got four goals and two assists in 28 Serie A appearances this season.

Yildiz clearly fits the Chelsea project and Juventus would be in line for a significant profit on a player who cost them nothing.

Whilst Yildiz is an exciting talent with plenty of first team experience you can’t help but feel Chelsea would be better off with someone who is more of a finished article and can make an instant impact.

If Juventus miss out on the Champions League then Yildiz could be one to watch and he might potentially be available at a cheaper price.
