Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi has been linked with a move away from the club in recent months, and the player is reportedly keen on joining Real Madrid.
According to a report via Fichajes, Barcelona and Real Madrid are interested in signing the 25-year-old defender, and they will be hoping to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with him in January.
He will be out of contract next June, and he’s looking to join a big club. He was close to joining Liverpool during the summer transfer window, but the move collapsed in the end. It seems that a move to La Liga is on the horizon now.
Meanwhile, Manchester United, Liverpool and Bayern Munich are keen on the defender as well. All three clubs will look to make their move in 2026, and it will be interesting to see what the Internation decides.
The report claims that he wants to play for Real Madrid, and it could be a dream move for the player.
Real Madrid could certainly use more depth in the defensive unit, and the 25-year-old would be a useful acquisition for them. Apart from his defensive qualities, he is excellent with the ball at his feet, and he will help Real Madrid build from the back. They need to tighten up defensively if they want to fight for major trophies. Guehi has been labelled as “exceptional” in the past.

Guehi has proven himself in the Premier League, and he has the qualities to succeed in La Liga as well. Signing a player of his quality on a free transfer would be an excellent investment for the Spanish club. It will help them improve defensively and free up the funds to improve the other areas of the squad as well.
It will be interesting to see where the 25-year-old ends up.
Barcelona could use defensive depth as well, and signing Guehi on a free transfer would be ideal for them. It remains to be seen whether they can beat their bitter rivals in the race for the England international.
