Galatasaray don’t want to waste time anymore as they seem determined to lure the 31-year-old back to his homeland.

Therefore, they’ve contacted Inter to request the midfielder’s transfer and get an understanding of the Italians’ stance.

After weeks of speculation, the Rams Park outfit finally look ready to negotiate Calhanoglu’s arrival.

It’s no secret that Galatasaray are ready to cover Hakan Calhanoglu in gold.

Indeed, they’re willing to drastically increase his salary to convince him to move to Istanbul.

However, they’re not as open to splashing out huge figures on a transfer fee.

Meanwhile, Inter won’t let the ex-AC Milan star leave for less than €35 million.

As for Galatasaray, they’re unwilling to exceed the €15m mark.

With the player’s consent, they should be in a decent bargaining position, even though Inter won’t budge on their asking price.

After all, they’ll need money to sign Ederson to replace the Turk.
