Serie A champions Inter Milan have set sights on Genoa starlet Koni De Winter to reinforce their backline in the summer.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Italian giants are contemplating signing the ex-Juventus.
Inter will overhaul their experienced defensive department at the end of the season.
One between Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij will likely leave Giuseppe Meazza.
Indeed, Inter will likely cut one loose to make room for a younger alternative.
Meanwhile, Koni De Winter could fill the void.
Genoa signed the 22-year-old from Juventus in the summer of 2024.
Moreover, they tied him down to a long-term contract until 2028.

Therefore, De Winter won’t come cheap, with the Griffins pinning a €25 million price tag on his shoulders.
However, that’s not out of Inter’s price range, as they intend to spend big in the summer.
De Winter would be a decent addition, given that he’s still young and has ample room for improvement.
The Belgian defender has made 15 Serie A appearances for Genoa this season due to a long-term hamstring problem.
