Germany head coach Julian Nagelsmann has omitted Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck from his squad for the upcoming March friendlies.

According to FCInterNews, the former Bayern Munich manager has refused to include the 25-year-old despite his recent impressive performances at club level.

Yann Bisseck had experienced a frustrating start to the season.

Indeed, new boss Cristian Chivu had preferred Francesco Acerbi over the German star in the early stages of the 2025/26 campaign.

However, the former Aarhus center-back has restored his first-team status at San Siro, becoming one of Inter’s most reliable defenders.

For context, Bisseck has made 13 starts in Inter’s last 15 Serie A games.

Despite leapfrogging Stefan de Vrij and Acerbi in the pecking order, Bisseck has failed to claw his way back into the national team.

Indeed, Nagelsmann has left him out of the squad for the upcoming international friendlies against Switzerland and Ghana.

Meanwhile, Bisseck, who has so far made just one appearance for Die Mannschaft, remains desperate to earn another call-up under Nagelsmann.

However, for the time being, he must remain patient.

With the 2026 FIFA World Cup around the corner, Bisseck must continue to work hard to regain Nagelsmann’s trust.
