Report – Inter Milan Eye Up Benfica Star As Hakan Calhanoglu Replacement | OneFootball

Inter Milan are reportedly looking at Benfica midfielder Orkun Kokcu as a potential replacement for Hakan Calhanoglu.

This according to Portuguese newspaper A Bola, via FCInterNews. They report that Benfica want a fee of €40 million for the 24-year-old.

Inter Milan are bracing for the possible exit of Hakan Calhanoglu.

The 31-year-old former AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen midfielder has been heavily linked with Galatasaray.

And Inter do not want to be caught out if Calhanoglu departs. Therefore, they are actively seeking out replacement.

According to A Bola, yet another name has emerged on Inter’s list of potential replacements for Calhanoglu.

And intriguingly, it is another Turkish international.

Benfica midfielder Orkun Kokcu has also attracted some interest from Serie A. The likes of AC Milan and Roma have reportedly considered a move for the 24-year-old.

Meanwhile, Turkish clubs Galatasaray, Besiktas, and Fenerbahce all reportedly have sounded out a move. However, at this point in time, the 24-year-old is not keen on a move to the Turkish Super Lig.

Kokcu joined Benfica from Feyenoord in the summer of 2023.

And according to A Bola, the Lisbon giants would want a fee of around €40 million for the Turk.
