It’s no secret that Inter Milan are in the market for a new wingback after Denzel Dumfries underwent ankle surgery yesterday.

Indeed, the Dutchman could spend the next three months on the sidelines, prompting the club to return to the market for his replacement.

Despite initially identifying Marco Palestra as their top target, Inter have had to change priorities.

Unfortunately, the Italian’s significant €40 million price tag has deterred the Nerazzurri from making a January attempt to sign him.

Meanwhile, Hellas Verona’s Rafik Belghali and Dinamo Zagreb’s Moris Valincic remain viable alternatives for Inter.

However, last season’s Serie A runners-up have reportedly prioritized a move for Norton-Cuffy.

Still, the 21-year-old won’t come cheap, with Genoa slapping a €20 million price tag on his head.
