Inter Milan have reportedly identified Marco Palestra and Manu Kone as their top targets for the summer transfer window.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri are preparing for a transitional summer, with numerous first-team stars set to leave.
Francesco Acerbi, Matteo Darmian, Yann Sommer, and Stefan De Vrij are almost certain to sever ties with Inter in June.
Indeed, their contracts expire at the end of the season, with the San Siro giants reluctant to offer them fresh terms.
Meanwhile, the runaway Serie A leaders could also make a few high-profile sales.
Alessandro Bastoni, Denzel Dumfries, and Hakan Calhanoglu could be on their way out to help the Nerazzurri raise funds for the incoming market.
With Luis Henrique unable to meet expectations, Inter remain in the market for a new wingback to replace Dumfries.
Therefore, they have placed Palestra at the top of their wish list, even though Atalanta could ask for around €50 million for their in-demand star.
On the other hand, Kone has been on Beppe Marotta’s shortlist for a year now.
Indeed, Inter had tried to lure him away from Roma last summer, but the Giallorossi had no interest in selling the French midfielder.
However, things could change this summer.
