Serie A powerhouse Inter Milan and Dutch wingback Denzel Dumfries could part company at the end of the season.
According to Sky Sport via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri are already preparing for life after the 29-year-old.
Indeed, he underwent ankle surgery earlier in December and could remain out of action until March.
Meanwhile, Cristian Chivu is likely to rely on Luis Henrique in his absence unless Inter sign a new winger in January.

Though Dumfries’ contract runs out in 2027, he could be on his way out next summer.
A €25 million release clause will come into effect in June, potentially drawing significant interest from top clubs.
Needless to say, Dumfries is one of Europe’s most highly rated wingbacks.
Therefore, Inter must prepare for the worst-case scenario.
With that in mind, they’ve already set their sights on Atalanta loanee Marco Palestra, who’s making strides at Cagliari.
