Report – Inter Milan Target Another Modena Star: High-Scoring Defender On Nerazzurri Shortlist | OneFootball

Serie A giants Inter Milan are reportedly interested in high-scoring Modena center-back Daniel Tonoli. 

According to Il Resto di Carlino via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri could complete another piece of business with the Serie B outfit in the summer.

Inter Milan signed 23-year-old midfielder Yanis Massolin from Modena in the final hours of the January transfer window.

However, they’ve let the Frenchman stay at Stadio Alberto Barglia on loan until the end of the season.

In addition to Massolin, another Modena star could join the San Siro powerhouse this summer. Indeed, Daniel Tonoli is the man in question.

Inter Milan Set Sights on Modena Defender Manuel Tonoli

Tonoli has established himself as one of the most reliable defenders in Serie A this season.

Furthermore, Tonoli graduated from the Inter academy before joining lower-league Virtus Bergamo in 2021.

After wandering in Italy’s lower divisions, he moved to Modena in 2024. However, he has made a name for himself only this season.

Tonoli made 29 league appearances for the Canaries. Despite playing as a center-back, he has racked up five goals.

Furthermore, his impressive form in Serie B has drawn Atalanta’s attention.

Still, Inter can rely on their strong relationship with Modena to beat La Dea to Tonoli’s services.
