Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini could be headed for the exit door this summer, with Inter reportedly among the suitors interested in acquiring the midfielder.
The 28 year-old is enduring a nightmare campaign filled with poor performances and losing his starting place in the team. Given his position within the club is no longer solid, he is now being linked with a move away from the Italian capital.
According to Corriere della Sera, Roma and Pellegrini could part ways permanently after the season, however, a move during the upcoming winter transfer window is unlikely.
The newspaper specifies claims the Giallorossi would have an easier time selling him in the summer—prompting the Nerazzurri to reportedly open talks with the player’s representatives.
Though, Pellegrini is also said to be interested in a move abroad to the Premier League.
