Manchester United and Manchester City are reportedly monitoring Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, whose future at the French club is uncertain due to stalled contract negotiations, according to Caught Offside.
The 26-year-old Italian international’s current deal with PSG runs until June 2026, but discussions over an extension have hit a roadblock.
Donnarumma is seeking an annual salary of €10 million, while PSG has offered €6 million, leading to a significant gap in expectations.
The Italian goalkeeper has been instrumental for the French club this season, contributing to their treble success under manager Luis Enrique.
He kept six clean sheets in 15 Champions League matches, conceding only 14 goals.
Despite his contributions, the unresolved contract situation has alerted several top European clubs.
United are reportedly considering Donnarumma as a potential replacement for Andre Onana, who has faced criticism for inconsistent performances.
Manager Ruben Amorim is said to be unconvinced by Onana and is exploring alternatives to strengthen the squad.
Man City is also interested in Donnarumma but would need to offload current goalkeeper Ederson to make room for the Italian. Ederson has attracted interest from Saudi Pro League clubs, and City is open to selling him for a fee of €30 million or more.

Italian clubs Juventus and Inter Milan are closely monitoring Donnarumma’s situation, hoping to lure him back to Serie A if PSG decides to sell.
Both clubs are keen on strengthening their goalkeeping options and view Donnarumma as a solid option.
If he becomes available for a move, the race to sign him will be intense among the biggest clubs in the world.
Considering his quality, talent and age, he is going to be one of the most sought-after players this summer.
