Report: Roma open talks with Nuno Espirito Santo | OneFootball

The latest report by Matteo Moretto of Relevo suggests Roma have found their top candidate for the bench in Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo.

The capital club got in touch with the current Nottingham Forest coach yesterday, advancing a two-yearly contract proposal and proposing an ambitious project for him: to build in a short time a team capable of competing for the top in Serie A.

The Portuguese coach, fresh from an excellent season in the Premier League, managed to relaunch Forest, leading them one step away from returning to the European cups after more than thirty years. A series of results that earned him the Best Coach of the Month award three times this year, allowing him to consolidate his connection with the English environment. For Roma, therefore, the main obstacle will be to find an understanding with the British club, which does not intend to easily deprive itself of its coach.
