Juventus have held informal explorative talks with the camp of Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson according to reports in Italy.
There have been questions over the future of Jackson following the £30m signing of Liam Delap from Ipswich earlier this summer.
The 24-year-old and Delap are expected to be Chelsea’s strikers next season, but further questions have been raised after Jackson was sent off for a terrible challenge in the 3-1 defeat to Flamengo on Friday.
Chelsea were leading 1-0 but fell apart in six calamitous second half minutes which saw them concede two goals as well as being reduced to ten men.
Jackson’s red card was his second in his last five games and he once again let the team down, showing he perhaps hasn’t learnt from his mistakes.

Jackson issued an apology on Instagram, and has now handed Delap a huge opportunity to stake a claim to be first choice striker heading into the new season.
It remains unclear if Chelsea plan to sell Jackson, who is under contract until 2033, but Di Marzio have reported Juventus have held explorative talks with his camp.
The report adds Napoli are also considering Jackson, but their priority remains Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez, whilst the Senegalese is no longer considered untouchable at Stamford Bridge.
Jackson endured a difficult campaign in which he managed just ten Premier League goals, and it’s now down to him to make amends for letting the team down twice in his last five matches.
Whether Jackson stays or leaves, Chelsea are still in the market for a versatile forward given Christopher Nkunku and Joao Felix are both set to depart.
