Inter and Milan, with a team of 50-60 professionals, plan to present their New San Siro project to the Milan Municipality.
Corriere della Sera reports via FCInterNews that the clubs will build a 71,500-seat stadium – 13,000 reserved for hospitality – on the current Meazza parking area.
Indeed, a covered podium will replace traditional gates and turnstiles for entry.
Construction should start in early 2027 and finish within three years, partially demolishing the current San Siro.
Furthermore, the plan includes preserving a section of the Curva Sud and adjacent stands as a museum memorial.
Club headquarters, a hotel, commercial areas, and 55,000 square meters of green space will surround the stadium.
The project requires an investment of €1-1.5 billion. Funding should come from ownership and loans from JP Morgan, Bank of America, and Banco BPM.

For Inter, staying at the San Siro remains a ‘Plan A.’
Indeed, Oaktree Capital is hellbent on pulling off this project.
Meanwhile, Milan continue to explore building its own stadium in San Donato.
