FC Bayern Munich want to sign Nathaniel Brown this summer and have already reached an agreement with the Eintracht Frankfurt left-back, according to reports this afternoon
Both Sky and BILD are reporting that Bayern are now really pushing the pace. In the transfer update, Florian Plettenberg revealed that there has already been contact between Max Eberl and Markus Krösche
Eberl has told Krösche about the interest and has completely maintained etiquette, which is why the deal should be viewed with different preconditions than the failed Woltemade transfer in 2025
Moreover, the comparison is a little flawed anyway, as Brown is allowed to leave Hesse while the Swabians did not want to give up Woltemade last season
However, it is also clear that the Hessians will not give up the player for a small sum. The SGE’s demand is around 60 million euros, and the modalities of the transfer will also play a decisive role, for example when which part of the sum will be paid

FC Bayern are therefore prepared to put up to €50 million on the table as a total package, which is at least a very good basis for further negotiations. An official offer has not yet been made to Hesse, but as the player is in agreement with Bayern and wants to move to Munich, this could be the case in the near future
Brown has also been repeatedly linked with a move to England, but a move to the Premier League doesn’t seem to be a big issue for him at the moment. Whether a deal, or at least major progress, can be made before the World Cup will depend on developments in the coming days.
