Right-back registered for Campeonato Paulista, set for Corinthians debut

Right-back Pedro Milans is now cleared to make his debut in the Paulista Championship. Corinthians' most recent signing was registered this Friday and is now available to coach Dorival Júnior.

Announced last Wednesday (21), the Uruguayan had his name published in the CBF's Daily Information Bulletin (BID) on the same day, but was still awaiting clearance to play in the State Championship. With the registration confirmed, Corinthians' List A now includes 24 players, within the limit of 35 allowed athletes.

The Paulista Football Federation (FPF) allows clubs to register players until February 13. Additionally, Timão has eight players on List B, intended for players up to 21 years old from the youth categories, with no limit on registrations.

With this, Pedro Milans joins defender Gabriel Paulista and midfielder Matheus Pereira among the already regularized reinforcements. On the other hand, midfielder José Martínez has not yet been registered, as he is still in the process of returning to Brazil after spending about three weeks in Venezuela to reissue his passport.

Although available, the right-back does not yet have a confirmed date for his debut. His last match was on November 30, against Nacional, from Uruguay, when he was still playing for Peñarol. Since then, he has been on vacation and has had few training sessions at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava.

If chosen by Dorival Júnior, Pedro Milans could make his debut as soon as next Sunday, against Velo Clube. The match takes place at 8:30 PM, in Rio Claro, for the fifth round of the Paulista Championship.
