Wolves face a 25-day hiatus until April after a 2-2 draw at Brentford, with Rob Edwards detailing how his squad will use the gap.

The Old Gold completed their 31st Premier League match at the Gtech Community Stadium, recovering from two down as Adam Armstrong and Tolu Arokodare scored for the visitors. On another night they may have taken all three points.

“We’re going to get a few days now. A few days off. The lads who don’t go on international duty will get some time away with their families which is nice. They’ve earned it and deserve it.” He was speaking to Sky Sports.

“And then we’ll come back, and it’ll be a mixture of training. And we’ll play a friendly game and make sure we prepare properly to go up against West Ham, which will be another really really difficult game for us.”

“But it’s a really strange one. Never had this in a season before.”

The break stems from the Arsenal fixture being rearranged due to their Carabao Cup final involvement. The friendly opponent is unclear and it is likely to be behind closed doors.

Despite missing out on a win, Wolves are three unbeaten and can reset before the final seven matches, where they may realistically need to win all to stay up.

Some players have looked jaded. Mateus Mane was withdrawn at half-time after a limited impact, replaced by Angel Gomes, with Thierry Henry feeling the change improved Wolves.

Mane has played a lot of football in 2026. This pause could benefit him and, hopefully, he returns to the influence he showed on his arrival.
