Spurs boss will be desperate to avoid another booking during Stamford Bridge derby
Roberto De Zerbi will serve a touchline ban if he is booked during tonight’s clash between Chelsea and Tottenham.
Current Football Association (FA) rules state that if a manager receives three yellow cards during the same season, they must serve a one-game suspension from the dugout.
De Zerbi has only been in charge of Spurs for five matches, yet has already picked up two yellow cards.
The Italian was cautioned early in the second half during his first home game in charge as Tottenham were held to a 2-2 draw with Brighton, and he was again booked as Spurs dropped points at home to Leeds last Monday.

De Zerbi is now at risk of missing Spurs’ final game of the season, at home to Everton on Sunday.
After he was booked against Leeds, De Zerbi accused the officials of not being calm and said they might have been influenced by the VAR controversy which saw West Ham’s stoppage-time equaliser at home to Arsenal ruled out the previous day.
"The first minute until the end of the game, the referee went to me, ‘if you go out (of the technical area), yellow card,’ and I think they were not calm today,” De Zerbi said
“Maybe they suffered the pressure of yesterday, the West Ham-Arsenal game and VAR. For sure, we suffer the pressure today for the speed of the ball, for the order of the pitch, and we didn’t play with patience on the ball, frenetic, we were rushed, but also the referee was not calm.”
