Rodrigo Mendoza to Atlético, last LaLiga winter deal two minutes before deadline | OneFootball

LaLiga logged a late flurry as Rodrigo Mendoza moved from Elche to Atlético Madrid at 23:57, two minutes before the window shut. Zito Luvumbo joined Mallorca from Cagliari and Álvaro Núñez switched from Elche to Celta.

According to Superdeporte, the market is now fully closed with no operations pending in Primera or Segunda.

Earlier entries on the league portal included Matías Vecino from Lazio to Celta and Veljko Birmancevic from Sparta Praga to Getafe.

There were three further registrations, Álvaro Fidalgo to Betis, Ibrahim Diabate from GAIS Gotemburgo to Alavés and José Antonio ‘Tete’ Morente from Lecce to Elche. Registrations for Vecino and Birmancevic were also processed.

Atlético also filed Ademola Lookman at about 20:30 and Mexican midfielder Obed Vargas around 21:00.

In the afternoon, Gonzalo Villar joined Elche on loan from Dinamo de Zagreb. Temporary moves also took Ville Koski from NK Istra 1961 to Deportivo Alavés and Cyril Ngonge from Nápoles to Espanyol.

Athletic Club promoted defender Unai Egiluz from the B team in the morning.
