Roma announce Daniele De Rossi's replacement as coach | OneFootball

Roma have moved swiftly to replace Daniele De Rossi as coach with the appointment of Ivan Jurić.

The Giallorossi legend was surprisingly dismissed on Wednesday just four winless games into the new Serie A season, mere months after signing a three-year deal.

He has now been replaced by former Torino boss Jurić, who has signed a deal until the end of the current campaign.

However, it includes a one-year extension clause in the event that the Croatian secures qualification for the Champions League.

Stefano Pioli (who has just joined Al-Nassr), Edin Terzić and Thomas Tuchel had also been linked with the Roma hot seat.

Jurić, who favours a 3-4-2-1 system, had been available after leaving Torino at the end of last season by mutual agreement and also impressed with his work at Genoa and Hellas Verona.
