Roma is looking for a right-back to replace Celik, who, while a free agent and awaiting a contract renewal, has moved to Juventus.

The Giallorossi are pursuing several players, but at the top of the list is Feyenoord’s Givairo Read, for whom D’Amico has reportedly offered €25 million.

The Dutchman finished the season with two goals and three assists in 1,193 minutes, despite various physical issues that forced him to miss 25 games. However, the Giallorossi are serious about the 2006-born player.

As reported by Voetbal International, the Giallorossi club beat Nottingham Forest to the €25 million offer for Feyenoord.

Furthermore, D’Amico has already secured the Dutch full-back’s approval for a five-year contract.

The Giallorossi management is reportedly ready to make a dash to the Netherlands to finalize the deal with the Dutch club and bring the player to the capital as soon as possible. Further developments are pending.
