Just a few days after their defeat against LOSC in the Europa League, Roma secured a valuable victory on the Fiorentina's pitch (2-1) and temporarily climbed to the top of Serie A.

The match started strong with the opening goal signed by Moise Kean, who scored a stunning long-range shot to finally unlock his counter.

The Roman reaction didn't take long. Matías Soulé equalized with a just as splendid left-foot curler, before Bryan Cristante, the captain of the evening, took the lead on a corner before the break.

Fiorentina hit the posts twice, notably by Piccoli in the 74th minute, but Roma held on until the end.
