Roma’s priorities in the upcoming transfer window appear to be the midfielder and the winger, but they won’t be the only two positions to be strengthened.
Gian Piero Gasperini, in fact, has already made it clear to the owners that the squad needs some quality additions to make the leap in quality that Trigoria has long awaited and finally set their sights on the Champions League.
As for defense, Roma could sacrifice Evan Ndicka this summer to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations, which require the Giallorossi to raise a minimum fee of €60 million.
Thus, if the Ivorian center-back were to leave, the Roman club would opt for Jayden Oosterwolde, a defender currently playing for Fenerbahçe.
According to Turkish portal Fotomac, the Dutchman could leave Turkey despite having a contract until 2028 and having been with the Giallorossi for three and a half years.
Fener’s request, however, shouldn’t be underestimated: at least €20-25 million is needed.
