Roma have reportedly set their sights on a defender from Mexico.

In recent days, Roma have been actively working on the market to strengthen the team for next season.

In addition to the search for a new coach to replace Claudio Ranieri, the Giallorossi club is evaluating several profiles to strengthen the squad.

On the defensive front, a possible replacement for Mats Hummels is being sought, should the German defender leave the team in June.

According to Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur, Roma are monitoring Israel Reyes, defender of Mexican club Club America.

However, the Roman club are not the only ones interested in the player: Real Betis and Eintracht Frankfurt are also evaluating the defender’s profile.
