Roma to meet with Pisilli’s agent to discuss future options | OneFootball

Daniele De Rossi can’t stop thinking about Niccolò Pisilli, the Roma midfielder whom the Genoa coach would like to bring back.

DDR has always had a strong appreciation for the young talent since his time in Rome and now wants to work with him again.

However, the Giallorossi club doesn’t seem inclined to let him go this transfer window.

Gian Piero Gasperini also praised Pisilli’s performance, noting that he’d like to see him get more playing time in the Giallorossi colors, especially now that El Aynaoui will be playing for Morocco in the Africa Cup of Nations.

The final decision, writes Il Corriere dello Sport, will be made in the coming weeks, following discussions between the player and Roma.

Pisilli is also being pursued by other Serie A clubs, including Cagliari, Verona, Torino, and Parma, who are lobbying to remove him from Trigoria.

The outcome of the meeting between the player’s agent and the Giallorossi management will therefore be crucial. So far, the Italy Under-21 midfielder has had very little playing time.

The only match in which he started this season was the 3-0 victory in Glasgow against Celtic.
