Roma turn to Eredivisie for reinforcements | OneFootball

Roma are planning to add several reinforcements to their squad ahead of next season.

Gian Piero Gasperini’s appointment means the club will have to work in order to satisfy the manager’s clear technical demands on the market front.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, some of Roma’s targets for this summer come from the Dutch top league, Eredivisie.

In fact, the newspaper states that Gasperini has asked for a strong midfielder with goal-scoring abilities as well as an agile winger that could play close to Artem Dovbyk.

Based on these criteria, the capital club are said to be focusing on two names in particular: Sven Mijnans of AZ Alkmaar (coming off a season with 11 goals and 8 assists) and Igor Paixao of Feyenoord (18 goals and 19 assists in his last season in Holland).
