Most of PSG’s players are still likely celebrating their second consecutive win. But some will have their thoughts turning to the future as the season comes to an end.

One of those players is likely to be Kang-in Lee. The South Korean didn’t get on the field in the final or either leg of the semi final. Despite continuing to play regularly for Luis Enrique in domestic action, the decisions in the very top games speak for themselves.

PSG wait for winger to make his plans clear

This lack of faith in the biggest games is leading to speculation about Lee’s future. Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano claimed this week that Atletico Madrid are interested, with “more options expected to follow.”

In the end, it will be down to the player. The club would keep him around and continue to use him as they do now – but it’s not clear if the attacker will be content with that. He’s won it all with PSG – does he now want to try something different? Or will the prospect of Bradley Barcola leaving create a tempting chance to finally establish himself more regularly?
