Cristiano Ronaldo continued his sensational form as he scored to help Al-Nassr beat Al-Okhdood 2-0 in the Saudi Pro League on Saturday.
The win extended Al-Nassr’s winning run to a club record 14 league matches.
They have restored their five-point lead at the top with six games remaining.
Ronaldo struck with a low effort in the 15th minute after good work in the build-up by Kingsley Coman and Nawaf Boushal.
He has now scored 24 goals in 24 SPL appearances this campaign.
His fellow Portugal international Joao Felix doubled their advantage after the break.
The 26-year-old fired home with a simple finish after Sadio Mane’s effort was parried into his path.
After a 14-game goal drought, Felix has now scored three times in his last two outings.
Al-Okhdood failed to breach the visitors’ defence, as Jorge Jesus’ men sealed a comfortable victory at the Prince Hathloul bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium.
Al-Nassr haven’t won the SPL title since 2019 or a major trophy since Ronaldo’s arrival in December 2022.
However, the Riyadh-based outfit are in a brilliant position to end their trophy drought this season, as they boast a commanding lead at the top.
Al-Nassr lost three consecutive games in January, but they have since maintained a perfect record in the SPL.
