Rosa van Gool joins Everton from Ajax | OneFootball

Everton Women have completed their first signing of the summer with the arrival of Rosa van Gool.

The Dutch youth international began her career at Ajax and was a part of the team that reached the Champions League quarter-finals in 2023/24 before being knocked out by Chelsea.

The midfielder's contract with Ajax expired at the end of the 2024/25 campaign and she has now put pen to paper with the Toffees.

"I am really excited to be here. I can't wait to start," Van Gool said on her arrival. "My dream was always to play in England and I think this is the best competition in the world right now, so it's a great place for me to develop. Everton is such a historical club and it's amazing I can play here.

"I love the identity of the Club and I think the way Everton want to play is a style that suits me. I am really happy to be here and from the first moment it feels like home. I really like it here and I had good talks with Brian [Sørensen]."

Van Gool played 19 times for Ajax last season, scoring two twice as her team finished second in the league on goal difference behind Twente.
