Benfica and NOS confirmed on Monday, 26 January, that they are negotiating a two-season television rights deal valued at around €100 million.
The club said in a statement to the CMVM that the talks cover the 2026/27 and 2027/28 campaigns.
Their partnership began in 2016/17 and runs until 30 June, and will be renewed under the new agreement, with the new contract bringing more than €50 million per season.
The package is expected to include audiovisual rights, TV and digital, for Benfica's league matches, plus coverage of the club's other sports, excluding UEFA Champions League and cups.
It is also expected to grant NOS exclusive status as telecommunications and technology partner, blocking new sponsorships in those categories.
The agreement is expected to be formalised this week at a dedicated event, closing a strategic process crucial to Benfica's financial stability.
