Ryan Mason appointed West Brom Head Coach

Ryan Mason has left his role at Tottenham to become the new head coach of West Bromwich Albion, currently competing in the Championship.

The 33-year-old has signed a three-year deal and will be taking over from Tony Mowbray at The Hawthorns.

Mason makes the move after serving as Ange Postecoglou’s assistant at Spurs, where he played a significant role in their successful Europa League campaign during the 2024/25 season.

With his contract at Spurs due to end this month, discussions progressed quickly after West Brom reached out last week.

Joining him at West Brom are Nigel Gibbs, who has been appointed as Men’s First Team Assistant Head Coach following a spell at Reading, and Sam Pooley, who arrives from Rangers as part of Mason’s coaching setup.
