Mohamed Salah didn't mince words in response to a fan's comment targeting his former teammates Luis Díaz and Darwin Núñez.

On social media, a supporter claimed that Liverpool's new signings, Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak—both brought in this summer for hefty fees—were "much better" than Díaz and Núñez, who departed for Bayern Munich and Al-Hilal respectively.
Annoyed by the comparison, Salah was quick to remind everyone of the crucial role both forwards played in the Reds' Premier League title. "How about we celebrate big transfers without disrespecting the champions?" wrote the Egyptian star. A firm message that puts the legacy of his former teammates back at the heart of Liverpool's success.
