Samuel Lino picks 8-0 Vitória win as his standout Flamengo game | OneFootball

Samuel Lino says Flamengo’s 8-0 victory over Vitória at the Maracanã in the 2025 Brasileirão is his standout game since joining mid-2025.

"I have had many good games, but that one was special. I scored two goals and provided three assists. It was 8-0, a memorable match in the 2025 league that we won. You cannot talk about another game other than this one against Vitória," he told GE.

He started that match and also contributed with successful dribbles and through passes.

Recently, Lino has seen his minutes reduced, with Cebolinha improving physically and technically and taking the starting role in some 2026 fixtures.

He remains available and wears the number 16. Flamengo visit Lanús (ARG) on Thursday 19 in Argentina for the first leg of the Recopa Sudamericana, kick-off 21:30 Brasília time.
