Santos could earn 600,000 dollars with Sudamericana last-16 berth | OneFootball

Santos could earn 600,000 dollars, roughly R$ 3 million, if they reach the Copa Sudamericana last 16 by beating UCV of Venezuela in the play-offs.

According to Diario Do Peixe, the ties are scheduled for Tuesday 21 and Tuesday 28, both at 21h30 Brasília time. The first leg is at Misael Delgado in Valencia, the return at Vila Belmiro.

So far, Santos have received 500,000 dollars for reaching the play-off round and 300,000 dollars for taking part in the group stage. Group-stage wins were worth 125,000 dollars each.

The Alvinegro beat Deportivo Cuenca once in the initial phase, lost the other meeting with the Ecuadorians, and drew with San Lorenzo and Recoleta.

Beyond that, awards rise to 700,000 dollars for the quarter-finals and 800,000 dollars for the semi-finals. The runners-up receive 2.5 million dollars, the champions 10 million dollars.
